Dr. Aparna V.S. (PhD.SLP, MSc.SLP) is an internationally trained and certified Speech and Language Pathologist who is passionate about working with individuals with cleft of lip and palate. She has done extensive research and has received intensive training and multiple accolades in assessment and management of speech and language issues secondary to unrepaired and/or repaired clefts. She has exceptional experience in working with children and adults, guiding researchers, and supervising young aspirants in the field of Speech and Hearing. Dr. Aparna is an alumni of India’s premier institute, the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore. She has been associated with the Smile Train program at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital, Bangalore for over a decade and is also the Founder and Lead Speech Pathologist of Leap Bridge Center of Speech Therapy, Bangalore. Dr. Aparna has attended, chaired, organized and presented in several International and National conferences and workshops where she has gathered innumerable clinical skills. Dr. Aparna is certified by the Rehabilitation Council of India and is a Life Member of Indian Speech & Hearing Association and Indian Cleft Lip and Palate Association.
